Is it really a surprise? Stephen Marley won the Grammy Award for best reggae album at the famous ceremony held on Sunday in Los Angeles.

The Marley son was rewarded for his album "Revelation Pt. 1: The Root of Life". He was preferred to his brother Ziggy Marley ("Wild And Free"), Israel Vibration ("Reggae Knights"), Shaggy ("Summer in Kingston") and Monty Alexander ("Harlem-Kingston Express Live!").
It is the third time Stephen Marley has received a Grammy Award, after his album "Mind Control" for 2007, then its acoustic version the following year.
Hosted by LL Cool J, this 54th edition was dominated by Adele (6 awards from 6 nominations…), the Foo Fighters (5), Kanye West (4) and Skrillex (3). The Grammy Awards also honoured the memory of Whitney Houston, who died the day before.
