It was an open secret: the Reggae Splash Tour, which was due to take place on 24 and 25 February, will not go ahead after all.
We reproduce below the statement from Garance Productions:
"As some of the artists cannot appear on the bill of the Reggae Splash Tour planned for 24 & 25 February, the event cannot be maintained under the same conditions:
The concert at the Zenith de Paris, which was to be held on Friday 24 February 2012, is postponed to Wednesday 16 May 2012.
The venue, times and prices remain unchanged. Tickets bought for the Friday 24 February 2012 show remain valid for Wednesday 16 May 2012.
Those wishing to be refunded may do so before 7 May 2012 at the points of sale where the tickets were bought.
The line-up may be modified; we will announce very shortly which artists will be appearing.
The concert at the Galaxie in Amnéville, which was to be held on Saturday 25 February, is cancelled. Postponing the date is not possible for logistical reasons.
Tickets bought for this concert are fully refundable at the points of sale where they were bought.
We apologise to the public and wish to make clear that the reason these dates are not being maintained is directly linked to the artists and/or their agents and is entirely beyond our control."
