When the Frenchman Manudigital meets the Swiss sound system Roots From The Cold, the result is the label Boomshak Records.

It all took shape about a year ago, Manudigital tells us: "Olivier from Roots from the Cold had listened to my 'Rmx of the week' on the net. One day, he called me to suggest working on a first riddim idea."
Very quickly, they set up a label to join forces: he takes care of the composition (assisted by Pokito, his sound engineer), while Olivier oversees the artistic direction.
Several riddims are already ready, voiced mainly by Jamaican artists. The first series, the Nah Bow riddim, features Sizzla, Perfect, the veteran deejay Trinity, but also C'daynger, Attila & KG Man.
Sizzla's track, which gives the series its name, can be discovered with the teaser below:

The Nah Bow riddim is available on vinyl from the Paris record shop Patate Records, and in mid-November in digital format.
The second series is expected at the start of 2013.
