Zenzile launches its remix contest
on Thursday, June 20th 2013 - 5 025 views
Zenzile is holding a remix contest for two tracks from its latest album "Electric Soul": Stay and Mr Drama.
The dub band is making the individual stems of these two tracks freely available. You have until midnight on 25 August 2013 to submit your creations.
The best remixer, chosen after consultation among the band's seven members, will win several goodies and get to meet the band.
The best remixes will feature on a digital compilation, "Electric Remix", which will be available in September.
Zenzile has also asked established artists to try their hand at a remix. While waiting for the next ones, three remixes by Robert Le Magnifique, Arno Gonzalez and Brain Damage have been completed (see below).
All the info, rules and separate stems on the Zenzile website: http://www.zenzile.com/remix
Zenzile will also be playing live:
22/06/13 : Festival Rencontre et Racines in Audincourt (25)
29/06/13 : Festival Kampagn'art in Saint Paterne-Racan (37)
19/07/13 : Festival Terre de Couleur - Toulouse (31)
20/07/13 : Festival Artistes aux Champs in Vihiers (49)
