Originaire de Jamaïque, Rod Taylor, influencé par Horace Andy, sort son premier hit en 1978 intitulé Ethiopian Kings. Aujourd’hui le chanteur est toujours actif, pour preuve ses deux albums parus en 2001 dont un sorti sur Jah Warrior.
